Layne and Simon successfully 3D printed the Lee Research Group logo using conductive elastomer, demonstrating the potential of conductive materials for functional 3D printing.

2026.05. Mikayla Completes UROP Spring Research Project
Mikayla Gillard successfully completed her 2026 Spring UROP research project at St. Thomas and presented her research at the UROP poster presentation on 'Tensile Analysis of Elastomer based Substrates'.
2026. 04. Materials Research Society Spring Meeting in Hawaii
Logan and Dr. Lee attended the Materials Research Society (MRS) Spring Meeting in Hawaii to present collaborative research among the University of St. Thomas, the University of Minnesota (Dr. McAlpine), and Yonsei University (Dr. Ryu).
Logan and JongHyun were nominated for a Best Poster Award for their collaborative research poster on 'Rapid Image-Based Impedance Prediction & Bayesian Optimization'.

2025.07. JongHyun Kim Visits the University of St. Thomas
In July 2025, JongHyun Kim, a Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering at Yonsei University, visited the University of St. Thomas and gave a group seminar on Smart 3D Printing Platforms.
2025.07. Research Visit to the McAlpine Lab at the University of Minnesota
Our team (Evelynne and Loagn) visited the Dr. McAlpine Lab to explore advanced 3D printing technologies and learn about ongoing research in additive manufacturing and biomedical applications from Yosup Kang, a Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering.
